Company History
Formed in 1989 by Gary Trauter and Fletcher Vinson, the company’s primary focus has been the commercial and industrial insulation market. Initially, work was primarily concentrated in Western Washington but in 1992 the Oregon division was formed. The continued vision to provide a wide range of services has expanded to water/air/barriers with certification by AABA and firestopping with certification by UL.
The company’s deep roots in commercial insulation and its history of expansion into new markets and disciplines only confirm its goal of continued growth into the next millennium. This combined with the company’s passion to provide unparalleled performance with cutting-edge technology for the 21st century has given us an opportunity to rise above the competition.
The Roots of Insulation Contractors
After many years of working in the insulation industry, we knew there was no secret to success in the insulation industry. Just doing the hard work, day in and day out, was necessary but was not a guarantee of success.
Our basic core belief is that in business, everything rises or falls on leadership, so if we were going to translate that into customers that were happy, meeting their expectations and enjoying doing business with us, we had to start with our employees. Employees, at some point, in every company become a mirror of the leadership of that company. The ones that stay embrace it, and those that leave reject it, either way a company becomes a reflection of its leaders. We knew that employees who were treated with honesty, respected, and valued for their contribution to our team would reflect those same values to our customers.
We found that opportunity and the backing to start our company in 1989 and holding true to our core belief that if you value your employees as much as you value your customer, it will over time, pay great dividends. Though not a secret, it has built and maintained our company for the past 34 years and hopefully well into the future.
